It’s hard to believe that the 2015 VRMA Conference is already here, but the VDS team is packing their bags to head to New Orleans and meet with some of the leaders in the vacation rental industry. The 4-day conference offers more than 50 educational sessions and great opportunities to learn about emerging marketing trends, strategic opportunities, and ways to connect with clients and customers. With so much to learn in such a short amount of time, the VDS team has some tips to share for making the most out of your VRMA visit, while still enjoying all that the Big Easy has to offer.

1) Attend a networking session – Conferences act as a gathering place for like-minded and ambitious professionals to interact with one another and learn new industry practices. VRMA 2015 has a number of break-out sessions where you can meet with other vendors. Come prepared with an elevator pitch and some industry tidbits and you may even build some new relationships as well.

2) Explore New Orleans – VRMA offers some great business opportunities, but it’s also a chance to explore a city that is renowned for its fun. Check out staple landmarks like the French Quarter or the Audubon Zoo. Explore the streets and take in the smells of unique Cajun cuisine while hearing some of the best jazz music the world has to offer. And with Halloween approaching, you could explore the spooky side and the mysterious ambiance of this hauntingly beautiful city on a ghost tour. Regardless of what you choose, make sure you free up some time and unwind in the Crescent City.

3) Visit the VDS Booth - Okay, so maybe we’re a little bit biased here, but stopping by to see the VDS team is a fantastic way to enjoy your VRMA visit. Whether you’re a vacation rental company, or a vendor looking to gain some industry insights, our friendly and dedicated team will be located at Booth #305 and ready to answer any questions you may have.
