Adding anchors on a page usually involves two steps - creating the anchored area, and inserting a link to that anchored area.

STEP 1: Inserting an Anchored Area

• Navigate to the page you wish to insert the anchored area on and click Edit Page.
• Put your cursor where you would like to create an anchor on the page.
• Go to Insert -> Section Anchor... in the top Contribute menu.
• Give the anchor a name - it should be lowercase, short, simple with no spaces.
• Click OK, and publish your page.

STEP 2: Inserting a Link to the Anchor

• Browse to the page where you want to insert a LINK to the anchor you just created
• click Edit Page.
• Select text or image, and click the Link button; select Browse to Webpage.
• Click the Browse button, and browse to the webpage you just inserted your anchor on.
• Select the page, and click the Advanced Options arrow;
• hold down on Section Anchor - it will show you a list of available page anchors; choose the one you wish to anchor link to.
• Click OK, and publish your page.
