QUESTION: Can I delete files or folders in Contribute on my website?

ANSWER:

If the page is new (ie, page has not been published yet) and is still in draft format, you can delete the draft - simply access the draft in Contribute and click the "Cancel" button.

You will NOT be able to delete new or existing live (ie, published) pages ... if you do not link to a page from the public site, then it will not be accessible to the general public (it remains dormant on the server). If you are removing a main page, or an entire section, then the pages should be redirected, not deleted. Please email Visual Data Systems Support and make this request ( support@vdsys.com ).
