QUESTION: My computer has crashed and I need to reinstall Contribute! How do I reinstall the application?
ANSWER:
You do not have to purchase a new license if you are simply reinstalling the application. You WILL however, need your serial number, from the original purchase and a copy of the installer.
If you have the backup CD and serial number from the original order, do the following:
1. Insert the cdrom into your computer, and install the software
2. Enter the serial number from the outside of the CD (or package)
3. Request a new keycode from Visual Data Systems by emailing support@vdsys.com
If you ordered Contribute online originally and/or do NOT have a backup CD or your serial number written down, do the following:
1. Visit Adobe.com and click "Your Account" in the top right corner
2. Login to your account with your email address* and password
3. Once you are logged in, click "View Order History" on the My Account page
4. You will see a list of orders made previously; click on Downloads to view the most recent orders downloaded
5. Copy your registration code/serial number and click the Download arrow to download the application
6. Expand the downloaded file and install the software on your computer
7. Enter the serial number you copied from the downloads page
8. Request a new keycode from Visual Data Systems by emailing support@vdsys.com
* the email used must be the one you used to originally order the software; if you've forgotten your password, you can request it be sent via email
