Online Guest Review Module
Vacationers understand that past guest experiences are a great way to determine if a vacation rentals company, and the home that they are considering, are a good match for their expectations and needs. That's why guests areusing websites likeTripAdvisor.com and Yahoo! Travel to read other travelers reviews and post their own experiences, negative or positive, about their vacation experiences. A great way to build on on-site review system that will be helpful for your future guests, the property owners, and yourself will be to offer "Guest Reviews" to your website.
It will be an easy to use system with the following functionality. After a guest checks out, you will encourage them to visit your website and post a review of the home that they stayed in. (You can add this to you post departure survey.)
The guest will go to theproperty page where they stayed and a link for "Guest Reviews" will be presented. The guest willsimply click this linkand a pop-up box will appear with past guests reviews on it.At the top of the page will be a link for "PostA Review". Clicking this will open a page with the following information:

Example: This unit has a beautiful view and great location, but that is the end of its charm. I was very disappointed in the quality of the unit itself. It had an odd smell to start things off; I had to go out immediately and purchase air fresheners to overcome the odor. The refrigerator was malfunctioning and taped together on the inside with moving tape. The bathrooms were moldy, rusted and overall disgusting. My kids nicknamed it "the dump". Overpriced and low quality.
